For a fully remote team, the annual company event is more than just a gathering; it’s a vital anchor, and the recent DeliveredSoft event at the stunning Narvil Hotel was a powerful reminder of this truth. The event, spanning two days, focused on solidifying team bonds and setting an ambitious, clear path for 2026.
The formal agenda kicked off in the afternoon, offering a powerful lineup that underscored both internal strategy and external partnership success. We had the pleasure of hosting two highly inspiring speakers:
- Leif Christiansen (PROAKTIVE) delivered an insightful guest speech. His session focused on "Change with impact" and the crucial work of creating cohesive teams, sharing lessons inspired by elite sports and global teams.
- The "Altex news!" segment, provided major updates on the success of the Altex and Brico Depot implementations. This session also featured high praise for our great cooperation, a pleasure to receive from the perspective of Laura Marin-Kohlbaum, CTO of Altex Romania.
Thank you!
We sincerely thank Leif Christiansen and Laura Marin-Kohlbaum for their invaluable participation and perspective. We truly valued their presence.
The heart of the afternoon was the CEO Corner led by Ulrik Balling Hansen. Having joined the company just two months prior to the event, Ulrik offered an insightful "outside-in" and "inside-out" view of DeliveredSoft. While he acknowledged that externally the company is known for delivering solutions and technical talent, his time inside the company revealed so much more: a rare level of ownership, genuine customer loyalty, and an impressive culture of finding creative solutions.
Ulrik was clear: the company is currently underestimating its own potential. He sees teams delivering work that could be "flagship case studies for global consultancies" and believes the company is capable of a much larger vision than the one it is currently sharing.
However, the remote nature of the daily work makes in-person connection crucial for addressing internal friction points. Ulrik highlighted areas where working remotely can complicate things, such as communication that "sometimes travels in zig-zags instead of straight lines" and the challenge of maintaining alignment without a physical office. The event itself served as the answer to this challenge – social interactions and events are essential for us.

Looking ahead to 2026, the CEO is focused on making the team's professional life easier. His goal is simple: "Clearer priorities, further growth, stronger direction", combined with continued work on strategy and alignment.
"(…) For a remote team like ours, these moments of shared presence are not a luxury – they are the blueprint for our future. It’s here, together, that we truly define our collective strength, set a clear direction, and realize just how special this company is (…)" said Ulrik Balling Hansen.
The day concluded with free time and a celebration. From the bowling alley to the Niagara SPA, and finally to the Open Bar, the evening was a fitting celebration of a successful year and a crucial step in preparing DeliveredSoft for an "acceleration year" in 2026.
